Abstract

This study aims to specify the classroom standard for General Education courses; and to develop the classroom appropriate to learning-teaching managementEventually, GE courses are offered in big class, with a focus on lecture and in-class activitiesA few places are used such as Sunandhanusorn Auditorium, rooms at 17 and 47 building, Suan Sunandha Alumni Association BuildingThe classroom management nowadays cannot well operate since there are a lot of complaints and suggestionsThe problems found include the insufficiency of classroom, the incompatibility between the number of students and classroom sizeOn the other hand, the students also raise some problems and suggestions, such as, the inappropriateness of environment; the unreadiness of classroom furniture tables and chairs should be sufficiently equipped; electricity and light should be decent; audio visual equipment should be well setThe entire problems and suggestions are summarized and the classrooms standard has been developedThe study results reveal that the satisfaction of students and instructors towards the classroom standard on facilities is at the very high levelConsequently, this can better the learning-teaching process of both students and instructors, as well as the environment and atmosphere.
