Abstract

Significant changes in the labor market amid the new coronavirus infection pandemic have affected almost all economies in the world, including Russia. In the context of a sudden economic crisis, caused by massive closures of enterprises, reduced income and demand, serious changes have taken place in the labor market. The article examines the situation on the labor market in 2020, which makes it possible to identify the dynamics and structure of unemployment, labor force, jobs based on statistical data. It also examines the measures taken by the state during the pandemic and their implications for the world of work.
