THE SATISFACTION OF STUDENTS TOWARDS E – LEARNING SYSTEM FOR GENERAL EDUCATION COURSE AT SUAN SUNANDHA RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The research aims to study the satisfaction of students towards e-learning system for general education courses at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat UniversityThe system has been developed by the Office of General Education and Electronic Learning InnovationThe population employed for the study is 353 sophomore, junior and senior students who enroll GEH 1102Thai Society in the World Context, in the second semester of 2016 academic yearThe tool used for collecting data is a satisfaction survey questionnaire; and the statistical tools applied are mean and standard deviation

The results are as followsThe satisfaction towards e-learning system overall is at the moderate level (X = 3.19, SD = 0.87).  When considering individual aspect, the satisfaction on learning efficiency is at high level (X = 3.58, SD = 0.74); on management and access is at moderate level (X = 3.30, SD = 0.83); and on communication is also at the moderate level (X = 3.10, SD = 0.83). 

The problems and suggestions from students are that the office should improve IT to become more efficient, in particular, the Internet signal / WiFi should efficiently cover all space in campus area and classroomMoreover, the e-learning system should be improved to make the lesson more interesting, and to make better communication with the instructors.
