SATISFACTION AND FACTORS PROMOTING MEDIA PUBLIC RELATIONS OF THE OFFICE OF GENERAL EDUCATION, SUAN SUNANDHA RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to study media exposure behavior of the Office of General Education and to study the need for information from public relations media of the Office of General Education and using the information obtained from the study to develop public relations media within Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. This study is a quantitative research using survey methods. The population used in this study was 200 students enrolled in general education subjects and the questionnaires were used as a tool for data collection and data processing by using software packages. The survey results showed that students studying general education courses need Facebook of the Office of General Education at a high level with as average of 4.82, followed by the website (www.gen-ed.ssru.ac.th), GESSRU Application, course websites (E-learning) and a public relations board, respectively. As well as the needs of public relations media for studying in the general education course showed that students need a variety of public relations media at a high level of demand with an average of 4.85. The result of this research can be used as a guideline in determining the public relations model and can be used as a guideline in developing the public relations model in general education courses more comprehensive and effective.
