PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS: MODERN PROBLEMS OF DEVELOPMENT
Abstract
A university student is often perceived as an object for teaching and using pedagogical competencies. At the same time, the professional competence of students is assessed not in the application to adaptation to the labor market, but only to compliance with certain pedagogical requirements. The article reveals the need for students to adapt primarily to the labor market. The authors propose using such approaches in the formation of students' professional competence that will be adapted to the labor market. The novelty of the study is that, due to the proposed problems, students will be more competitive in the labor market and will be able to claim higher positions in choosing a job and salary for a novice specialist. For employers, developed approaches to improving student competitiveness will reduce the cost of training and adaptation of a young specialist.
