US DOMESTIC LANGUAGE POLICY TRENDS IN THE CONTEXT OF A MULTIPOLAR WORLD

Abstract

The article addresses the problem of developing the United States internal language policy in modern conditions. Accordingly, the subject of the article is the specifics of the development of US internal language policy in the context of a multipolar world; the object is the modern domestic language policy of the United States. The purpose of the article is to reveal the features of the internal language policy of the United States, based on the principles of the global economic, political and cultural world order, as well as due to the return from a unipolar world to a bipolar world. In conclusion, the author notes that the language policy of the United States appears to be very controversial and unsystematic, having significant differences at the federal and state levels, in certain areas of public life.
